Alberta Ruth Gallagher

Alberta Ruth Gallagher, age 74, of Homer City died August 16, 2017. Ruth was born in Blairsville on March 14, 1943 and was the daughter of George Francis and Martha Jean (Cline) Heming. Surviving are two sons Tory Heming, California and Jody Gallagher, Homer City and three daughters Tonia Gallagher, California; Billie Jean Huffman and husband Robert, Latrobe; and Cami Mlakar and husband Jarrod, Homer City. Ruth is also survived by grandchildren Walter Lewis Olin IV and wife Jayde, Daniel Peak, Michael Brown and wife Melissa, and Ryan, Taylor, Trevor and Brett Mlakar. Great grandchildren serving are Hope Anderson, Daniel and Dawson Peak, Julia Olin, Lennon, Hadline and Kingston Brown and Sophia Madeline Rose Mlakar. Ruth was survived by brothers Ernest and wife Elizabeth Heming, Ralph and wife Merianne Heming, Robert Heming, Eugene Heming and sisters Betty and husband Larry Mack, JoAnn and husband James Meyer and Ester and husband Ronald Peterson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Felton, nieces Tracey Heming and Robyn Heming and nephew Michael Heming and sister-in-law Dorothy Heming. Friends will be received Tuesday from 10:00 - 12:00 at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home where services will be held at 12:00 PM.
