Clarence Stewart

Clarence David Pud Stewart, 88, of Indiana died July 13, 2016 at St. Andrew Village. He was born November 16, 1927 in Dilltown to Harrison Harry and Blanche (Tomb) Stewart. Pud lived in Brush Valley for most of his life and spent winters in Fort Myers, Florida. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a lumberman and truck driver. He was a member of the Barkley and Indiana Wesleyan Methodist churches. He will be remembered for his CAT hat, smile and goodwill. He is survived by his daughters, Rita (Arnold) Wolfe, Indiana; Connie (Randy) Fry, Fort Myers, Florida; sons, David (Cindy) Stewart, Brush Valley and Brent (Carol) Stewart, Brush Valley; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brother, Melvin (Miriam) Stewart, Brush Valley; sister, Kathryn George, Brush Valley; sister Anna Mae Davis, Indiana, sister-in-law Betty Stewart, Indiana and brother-in-law, Ronald M. (Ann Louise) Little. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Roene I. (Little) Stewart who died August 26, 1995; brothers, Raymond, Charles (lila Rae) and Wayne (Alma); sisters, Estella (Harry) Sharp, Elda (Frank) Findley and Ora Louise Stewart; brother-in-laws Halcy George, Eugene Davis and Norman T. Peck (Mary K) Little. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Clarences honor to the Barkley Wesleyan Methodist Church, 3017 Camerons Road, Homer City; the Indiana Wesleyan Methodist Church, 1201 Church Street Indiana, or St. Andrews Village, 1155 Indian Springs Road, Indiana. The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Andrews Village and Hospice 365 for their compassionate care. Friends will be received Saturday, from 1PM until time of Memorial Service at 3PM with Rev. Joseph Smith, officiating.
