Lillian Rebovich, 89, Indiana formerly of Homer City died Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Rose Haven Personal Care Home, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late John and Susan (Tisak) Rebovich and was born February 7, 1930 in Homer City.
Lillian was member of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Homer City where she was very active in the church, serving as an officer, a member of the Ladies Altar Society as well as helping in many other ways.
Her career in banking spanned over 40 years. She started at Homer City State Bank working in stocks and bonds and as an executive secretary. After graduating from the American Institute of Banking, she moved on to be the Vice President at S&T Bank in Indiana, PA.
She is survived by her brother, Paul Rebovich, Homer City; her sister, Helen Saverine, Bridgeton, NJ and by multiple family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her seven brothers, John, Steve, Mike, Nick, Joseph, George, Edward and three sisters, Mary Yanity, Ann Jakub and Susan.
Friends will be received Tuesday, November 5th from 3-7 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where a Parastas will be recited Tuesday at 6 PM. A Panachida will be held Wednesday at 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Service at 10 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Homer City. Interment to follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
