Agnes Nazick

Nazick- Agnes, 89, Nanty Glo, Passed away May 25, 2018 at her home. She was born Dec. 13, 1928 in Bolivar. Daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Paunovich) Nazick. Preceded in death by sisters Caroline Nazick, Rose Kozel, and Mary Nazick. Brothers Vincent and Nicholas. Brothers-in-law Walter Kozel, Sylvester Harris, and Anthony Brzozowski. Sister-in-law Katherine Nazick. Agnes is survived by her siblings William Nazick, Julia Brzozowski, Frances (Paul) Romanko, Eleanor Harris, and Barbara (Joe) Riley. Aunt Caroline Kolich. She was a very special Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Marys Church, Nanty Glo, where she sang in the choir. Agnes retired as a hairdresser from a beauty shop in Ligonier, that she managed for her sister Mary Nazick. She loved to travel in her younger years with the Ligonier Happy Travelers, and other friends. She had the opportunity to visit many sites abroad and in the United States. Agnes was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling. Agnes will be deeply missed by her loving Family and all who knew her. Family and friends will be received at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, on Tuesday, from 11 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1 P.M. at ST. Marys Church, Fr. Leonard Voytek, the Celebrant. Interment to follow in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
