Al Pluchinsky

Al Pluchinsky, 73, Homer City died May 21, 2019 at Shadyside Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Edward Joseph and Elizabeth (Policsko) Pluchinsky and was born May 10, 1946 in Coy, PA. Al was a lifetime member of the Brush Valley Volunteer Fire Department, First Assistant Chief. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, VFW, American Legion, Red Barn Sportsman Club, and the Brush Valley Antique Iron and Power Club. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict. Al was retired from Penelec,mobile maintenance. He was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors. He was a jack of all trades who was always willing to lend a helping hand to all who needed it. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie (Zack) Pluchinsky; daughters, Tracy Stutzman and her husband Kevin, Falling Waters, WV; Missy Chichy and her husband Scott, Beaver Falls, PA; and Lori Pribesh and her husband Joe, Lucernemines, PA; nine grandchildren, Braden, Ali, Caleb, Seth, Aidan, Lucas, Christian, Nicholas and SaraBeth. He is also survived by his siblings, Dottie Raye, Rosalie Adamson, Ted Pluchinsky and wife Sandy, Patricia Belt and husband Bill, and MaryAnn Dill and husband Gary. He was a loving uncle, second dad, Pappy Al, loyal friend to many and Big Al to all. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward; sisters, Elizabeth (Pluchinsky) Sasala and Marjorie (Pluchinsky) Hemphill and nephew Richard Adamson. Fly High Assistant 1, you will forever be missed. Friends will be received Friday, May 24th from 2-8PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City and Saturday from noon until time of Funeral Service at 1PM at the funeral home. Interment to follow in the Brush Valley Cemetery.
