Ann Theresa (Mlecik) Deptola, 93, Homer City died Sunday, August 3, 2014 at her home. She was born August 5, 1920 in Coral, PA and was the daughter of the late John and Theresa Mlecik. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. Ann was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Her nut rolls will be missed by many. She enjoyed Polkas and dancing. Her memberships include the First Catholic Ladies Association, St. Elizabeth Branch 317, Coral; Our Lady of the Assumption Altar Rosary Society; TOPS OH #300, Indiana; Red Barn Sportsman's Club; Silver and Gold Club and Silver Spurs Line Dancers. She helped at numerous church festivals, fund raisers and bereavement luncheons. She is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Vuckovich and her husband, Michael of Chesterland, Ohio; three sons, Robert and his wife Susan of Indiana; Richard and his wife Cindy of Hickory, NC; and Thomas and his wife Marcia of Homer City; grandchildren, Michael, Christine, Melissa, Matthew, Kevin, Jason, Stephen, Nicholas, Travis, Leanne and Kaitlyn; great-grandchildren, Jack, Aidin, Cadie, Corinna, Zac, Lance, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry M. in 1989; sister Mary Gnibus; three brothers, Andrew, Joseph and Steve Mlecik; three step-sisters, Ann Opatka, Susan Timko and Mary Mlecik; and three stepbrothers, Vincent, Steve and John Sabota. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Blessing service will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site with Rev.Fr. Ronald Cyktor, the Celebrant. Interment to follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
