Anna Mae Lucas, 98, Homer City died September 28, 2023 at St. Andrew’s Village. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Stella (Domino) Lazarowicz and was born September 1, 1925 in Coalport, Pennsylvania.
Anna Mae was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. She enjoyed cooking, canning and loved being with her family.
Anna Mae is survived by her two sons, Raymond Lucas and wife Cindy, of Ebensburg, and Robert Lucas and wife Diane, of Indiana and her daughter-in-law, Peggy Lucas, of Homer City. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Tina Lucas, Tricia (Dean) Patterson, Nathan (Taya) Lucas, Matt (Amanda) Lucas, Michael (Jess) Lucas, Chris (Danielle) Lucas and Greg (Kellsey) Lucas; and her five great grandchildren, Logan, Blake, Sierra, Nolan and Phoenix. Her three sisters, Agnes Roser, Ruth Miller, Theresa Mosco and her one brother, Frank Lazarowicz and numerous nieces and nephews survive her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley J. Lucas, and her son, Stanley A. “Junior” Lucas.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2-6 PM at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City. A Blessing Service will be held Monday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
