Blanch E. (Barger) Shedlock

Shedlock, Blanch E. (Barger), 91, Nanty Glo, passed away Nov. 22, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by her Loving family. She was born April 8, 1926 in Marianna. Daughter of the late William and Mary (Montgomery) Barger. Preceded in death by husband Bernard Barney, brother William Bill and sister Nellie Pagano. Blanch is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is Survivied by her sons Bernie (Mary Frances) Shedlock, Nanty Glo and Bill (Jamie) Shedlock, Virginia Beach, Va. Grandchildren William (Sarah), Jason (Lori), Naomi (Ryan) Bickle, Matthew (Kari), David (Dawn), and Monica. Great grandchildren David, Ashley, Nathan, Austin, Ian, Carly, Sophia, Zachary, Jacob, and Arianna. She was an active member of St. Marys Church, Nanty Glo. Also a member of Vintondale VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Family and friends will be received at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, on Sunday from 4-8, where wake service will be held. Funeral Mass will be Monday 10:00 A.M. at St. Marys Church, Fr. Leonard Voytek, the Celebrant. Interment to follow in Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Inter Faith Food Pantry.
