Brian Michael Gatskie

Brian Michael Gatskie, age 42, of Blairsville died on June 7, 2015. Brian was the son of Daniel Call and Patricia Gatskie Call and was born July 24, 1972. Brian graduated from Pittsburgh Culinary Institute and enjoyed cooking. Brian is survived by parents Daniel and Patricia (Call) Gatskie, Chicora, PA and grandmother Pauline Gatskie, Blairsville. He is also survived by two step brothers Daniel and David Call; four step sisters Carole Ann Thomson, Karen MacArthur, Bonnie McCusker and Jennifer D'Amico; aunts and uncles, Janet and Daniel Clawson, Arcadia, Fl, Michael and Beverly Gatskie, Marion Center, Robert and Patricia Gatskie, Marion Center, James Gatskie, Blairsville and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Brian is preceded in death by grandfather Michael Gatskie. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where Blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption, Coral Site. Interment at St. Francis Cemetery.
