Deborah F. (Hoover) Reed

Deborah (Debbie) F. (Hoover) Reed, age 60, of Brush Valley died May 31, 2015 at IRMC. Deborah was born on September 18, 1954 in Indiana, PA and was the daughter of Murray V. and Ethel Fletcher Hoover. Deborah worked at Indiana Sportswear and later at Bestform in Johnstown as a seamstress and most recently at Walmart in Blairsville. During her retirement, Debbie took great pleasure in taking care of her beloved Pekinise puppies. Deborah is survived by husband Thomas P. Reed, Brush Valley and one daughter Heather D. Reed and partner Wendy, Johnstown. She is also survived by father Murray V. Hoover, Brush Valley; one step grandson Kyle T. Reed and two sisters Cheryl L. Kinter and husband James, Brush Valley and Sharyn K. Shomo and husband Michael, Brush Valley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Deborah is preceded in death by mother Ethel Hoover. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral Site with the Rev. Msgr. Larry Kinary, officiating. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
