Dorothy L. (Divins) Litzinger

Litzinger-Dorothy L. (Divins), 85, Mineral Point, passed away May, 7, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born June 20, 1933 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late George and Hannah (Hitchcock) Divins. She was preceded in death by siblings George "Butch" Divins, Betty Murphy, and Helen Divins. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 68 years Charles Litzinger, Sr., Mineral Point. Children Ruth (Scott) Strayer, Ebensburg, Charles (Michele) Litzinger, Jr., Nanty Glo, Jane (Jim) Mastrine, Nanty Glo, Alice Litzinger, Johnstown. Grandchildren Scott, Jr. and Michael, Wilbert, Karen, Brooke, Amber, Charles III, Renee, and Adam. Great grandchildren Seth, Jenelle, Airyonna, Mia, Aston, Jaxson, Sienna. Sister of Joyce McDowell, Johnstown and Ada (Dominick) Petrore, Johnstown. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Pike Grace Brethren Church, Mundy's Corner, where she was a volunteer in the lunch room and taught Children's Church. Family and friends will be received at Pike Grace Brethren Church, Mundy's Corner, on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM Pastor Rudy Sheptock, officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cambria County Christian School. Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home Nanty Glo is in charge of the arrangements.
