Dwight R. 'Cork' Burkhart

Burkhart, Dwight R. Cork, 64, Mundys Corner, passed away Sept. 21, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born Nov. 14, 1952 in Mundys Corner. Proceeded in death by parents and daughter Nicole Burkhart. Surviving is his wife Carol Burkhart. Cork was the brother of Patty Howey, Renee Lee, Larry (Joan) Sumner, Sue Nagle, Jim (Shelly) Sumner, Bill Sumner, Diane Sumner, Debbie Corbett (Ralph), Sharon Illig (Roger), and Paul (Jen) Adams. Numerous nieces and nephews. Member of the Nanty Glo Moose Lodge #207 and Jackson Twp. Sportsmans. Cork enjoyed watching Nascar racing. At the request of the family private viewing and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
