Edward C. Stormer

Edward C. Stormer, 71, Slickville died February 11, 2016 at Latrobe Hospital. He was the son of the late John Richard and Irene Stormer and was born November 15, 1944 in Johnstown. He was employed at the Homer City Power Plant. He was a also a member of UMWA, Homer City Local. He is survived by six children, Edward C. (Judy) Stormer, Pittsburgh; Joe Stormer, Blairsville; Jennifer (Craig) Faight, St. Michaels; Samuel Stormer and Leila Stormer, both of Slickville. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Arianna Stormer, Shaila Stormer, Ashley and Emily Stormer, Kody Faight and Tyler Lee. HIs siblings, Betty (John) Baskid, Homer City; Sue (Harry) Fink, Blairsville; Merlyn McCullough, Blairsvillle and June (Jim) Starry, Homer City also survive him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mick McCullough, Nancy Duffy, Dick Stormer and Debbie McCullough. Friends will be recieved Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A memorial service will be held at 8PM Friday at the funeal home with Pastor Charles Harve, officiating.
