Everett R. Fennell, 66, Lucernemines died Friday, May 6, 2016 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Everett Sr. and Dorothy (McMunn) Fennell and was born September 13, 1949 in Rural Valley. Everett was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Red Barn Sportsman's Club and the Graceton - Coral Sportsman's Club. Mr. Fennell was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a coal miner employed by Lucernemines #6 and also worked as a delivery driver up until his retirement. Everett is survived by his wife Mary Jo (Dowling) Fennell; children, Greg and wife Stacy Fennell, Phoenix, A; Audrey Fennell, Pittsburgh; Jeff and wife Kirstie Fennell, Saltsburg; grandchildren, Evangeline and Matthew Fennell, Saltsburg. He is also survived by his brothers, Jim and wife Debbie Fennell, Kittanning and John and Tiffany Fennell, Saudi Arabia; and his mother-in-law, Joan Dowling, Pittsburgh. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemarie Matis Friends will be received Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where services will be held at 8 PM at the funeral home.
