Frances Shacreaw

Shacreaw-Frances (Palmer), 90, Indiana, passed away Nov. 6, 2025. She was born July 10, 1935 in Palmertown, Pa. Daughter of the late Raph and Alma Mae (Walbeck) Palmer. Preceded in death by husband George, infant son Joseph, grandson Dan Shacreaw. She is survived by children Darlene (Wayne) Stiles, George (Bonnie) Shacreaw, Robert Shacreaw, Carol (Paul) Ostach, Lisa (Brian) Piper, grandchildren Scott, Marcy, Sami Jo, Michelle, Kayla, and Courtnie, great grandchildren Chloe, Caiden, Lylah, Laurel, Archer, and Colton. Sisters Betty Stineman and Shirley (Robert) Smetak. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. She loved spending time celebrating holidays and birthdays with her family. A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, from 12PM until the time of Memorial Service at 2PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Homer City. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Coral. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to The Heritage Grove staff and residences and to Penn Hospice.
