Frank Piraino, age 88, of Coral died Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his residence. Frank was born on January 9, 1930 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was the son of Thomas and Mary (Grimaldi) Piraino. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family, sitting in the sun, mowing the lawn, going to Atlantic City with his wife, going out to eat, listening to the radio and watching tv and singing. His hobbies included building and flying remote control airplanes, painting with oils and attending concerts. He also enjoyed bowling at the Mohawk Lanes. Frank was a former owner of Frank's TV and Piraino's Used Sales of Indiana. He was a veteran of the US army. Frank is survived by two daughters, Linda (Piraino) Erb of Coral and Deborah (Piraino) Shaffer, of Coral; and two sons Thomas and wife Heather Piraino of Indiana and Frank Piraino of Coral. He is also survived by one brother Thomas "Uncle Junior" Piraino, Indiana; two grandsons, Richard Shaffer and Austin Rura, three granddaughters, Lisa Erb, Kara Piraino and Alexa Piraino and five great great grandchildren, Fisher Erb, Braelynn Mahoney, Gracie Mohoney and Riley Shaffer. Several nieces and nephews also survive him. In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Patterson in 2004 and two brothers Joseph and Tony Piraino. Friends will be received Wednesday at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at the Luther Chapel Cemetery, Coral.
