George J. Colesar

George J. Colesar, 63, Indiana died Thursday, December 17, 2015, at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was the son of the late George John and Susanna (Baran) Colesar and was born October13, 1952 in Homer City. George was a 1970 graduate of Homer-Center High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Steelers fan. George worked for many years as a machinist and a bowl tooler for the former Syntron Company, FMC Corporation and for Homer City Automation. He was a former charter member of Red Barn Sportsman's Club. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix and he was willing to help anyone who asked for his help. He is survived by his brother and three sisters; Pauline (Otis) Stradford of Indiana; Joanna (William) Shuey of Penn Furnace, PA; James (Joanne) Colesar of Clearfield and Nancy Isenberg of Homer City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; Phaedra Stradford, Cheisa (Stanford) Webb, Stanford, Aaron, and Darius Webb; Zachary and Ethan Isenberg; Nick (Catie), Julie and Suzie Colesar, and great-nephew Michael Lee Colesar. His aunt Elizabeth Baran of Homer City also survives him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal and fraternal grandparents, Mary and George Colesar, and Anna and Mike Baran. He is also preceded in death by one infant sister Susanna and one infant sister Margaret Colesar. Visitation for George will be on Saturday, January 2, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.at C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City, with a Memorial Services at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Indiana, following the services. In lieu of flowers the day of the services, the family asks that you make a donation in George's name to your favorite charity.
