Gina D. Brown

Brown, Gina D., 40, Johnstown, formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away Oct. 14, 2017, at her home. She was born Dec. 21, 1976 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by maternal and parenal grandparents. Gina is survived by her father Ron Brown (Karen Anderson) and mother Maggie (Ken) Grazier. Daughter Samira Fisher (Jordan). Sister of Cindy (Darren) Scott; Amy (Jed) Karalfa; Natlie (Justin) Philman. 8 nieces and nephews. Special friend April. She worked at the Ebensburg Center and local facilities as an C and A. Gina lost her courageous battle to addiction and is finally at peace with her butterflies. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister, and so proud of her daughter Samira. She touched many people with her warm heart and caring spirit. Gina was a great housekeeper and friend and enjoyed music, bingo, decorating her home, and shopping. Gina was genuine, sensitive, and kind, and had the most beautiful blue eyes. Family and friends will be received at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home on Friday from 4 P.M. until the time of services at 7 P.M., pastor Geno Bartoletti, the celebrant. Gina , we love you and will miss you. You have left a big hole in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ginas family for Samiras college fund.
