Gloria C. (Cute) Jones

Gloria (Cute) Jones, 88, Homer City died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at home surrounded by family. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Kifer) Cute and was born March 24, 1929 in Coral. Gloria was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Homer City and former member of the Eastern Star. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. In her younger years she was employed by Brodys Department store and Pernall Insurance Agency before becoming a full time mother to her two children. She is survived by her son, Brian and wife Cindy, Indiana; two grandchildren, Mikayla Jones, Seattle, Washington and Carissa and husband, Orville Barcus, Castalia, Ohio and their children, Ethan, Amelia and Olen. She is also survived by her sister, Mary and husband Herbert Mehringer, Coral. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Pud in 2005 and her daughter, Maureen Lea in 2017 and her brothers, Charles and Sam Cute and her sister Clara Thompson. Friends and family may be received Wednesday from 12PM until time of Funeral Service at 1PM at The Hope Lutheran Church, Homer City with Pastor Steve Bond, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church in Gloria's name.
