Gregory L. Burkett

Gregory L. Burkett, 38, Homer City died May 6, 2015. He was the son of Kay F. and Virginia A. (Deutsch) Burkett and was born August 4, 1976 in Indiana. He was a graduate of Homer Center High School Class of 1993 and the Pittsburgh Technical Institute. Greg was an avid Pirates Fan. He is survived by his parents; sister, Krista L. Fouquette and husband David, Foley, MN; two nephews, Nicholas LaFosse, Grand Forks, ND and Matthew Fouquette, Foley, MN; Maternal grandmother, Lucille S. Deutsch, Latrobe; Uncles and Aunts, Don and Helen Burkett, Aultman; Frank and Wendy Deutsch, Herrin, IL; David and Chris Deutsch, Dover NH; Richard and Mary Beth Deutsch, Richmond, VA and Ronald Deutsch, Reidsville, NC. He is also survived by his ex wife, Krista Stanick and his stepdaughter, Mackenzie Stanick. Gregory was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank J. Deutsch and his paternal grandparents, Howard M. and Christina M. (Fairbanks) Burkett. Friends will be received Friday, May 15, 2015 from 5-7PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where a memorial service will be held at 7PM with Rev. Von Taylor, officiating. Interment in the Greenwood Cemetery.
