Harold Vernon Reasor

October 18, 1947 — June 1, 2014

Harold Vernon Reasor, 66 Mercer formerly of Lucernemines died June 1, 2014 at Sharon Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Walter and Helen (Pauline) Reasor and was born October 18, 1947 in White Township, PA. Harold was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a great outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Harold also enjoyed motorcycles and NASCAR. He was a former member of the Golden Grain Archery Club, Homer City Fire Department and Citizens Ambulance. Harold was a CPR instructor and along with his wife were a member of the IRP. He was employed by Dietrich Industries and worked at the Blairsville and Warren, Ohio plant for 42 years until his retirement. Harold is survived by his wife, the former Karen Hill; two sons, Harold and wife Kathy of Brush Valley and Stephen and wife Jessica of Transfer, PA; five grandchildren, Halee, Karly, Evan, Kayla and Christopher. He is also survived by one brother, Leon and wife Noreen of Buxton, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Walter and Monica Reasor. Friends will be received Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. A memorial service will be held in Mercer at a later date.
