Helen Zora Wineman

Helen Zora Wineman, 83, Homer City died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Ira R. and Zora (Bowers) Overdorff and was born November 29, 1931 in Indiana. Helen was a member of the Graystone Presbyterian Church, Indiana. She was very active in the Risinger Elementary PTA when her boys were young and she was also a volunteer for the American Red Cross - Myrwalt Flower Fund. Helen is survived by her husband, Robert C.; her sons, Michael L. Wineman and his wife Kimberly of Rock Hill, SC and James S. Wineman and his wife Cynthia of Houston, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicholas, Danielle, Alexis and Amanda Wineman and Clare and Benjamin Wineman. Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Rick Hurley, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
