Helen P. (Zorak) Zelenski

Helen P. Zelenski, 82, Homer City died Friday, April 6, 2012 at Beacon Ridge. She was the daughter of the late William Sr. and Mary (Magosic) Zorak and was born September 13, 1929 in Waterman, PA. Mrs. Zelenski was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. She was employed at Lee Hospital in Johnstown for about 10 years and later worked in Indiana for Dr. Michael Cavato as a medical assistant. Helen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and also enjoyed cooking and baking all of her Polish foods. She is survived by a son - Daniel M. Zelenski and fiancée Brenda Fleming of Indiana; Two grandchildren - Dan Zelenski Jr. and wife Christie and their son Landon of Ravenna, Ohio and stepson Brandon of Detroit, Michigan; and Senta Zelenski and her daughter Aybrah Irene of Elderton; One brother - William Zorak Jr. and wife Ethel of Lucernemines; She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and Brenda's children - Troy, Preston, Brandi and Amanda and their families all of Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Zelenski in 2011 and her beloved dog - Casey. Friends will be received Sunday from 5-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Blessing Service will be recited Monday at 9:30 at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site with Rev.
