Homer Charles Liggett

Homer Charles Liggett, 80, of Luciusboro, Homer City died October 9, 2018 at his home surrounded by loved ones after a long fight with Parkinson's disease. He was the son of the late Iva Alice and Paul Liggett and was born July 13, 1938 in Brush Valley. Mr. Liggett work for Coca-Cola company for 45 years and loved spending time with his family and his beloved dogs. Homer was a big sports fan. Mr. Liggett is survived by one sister Betty Jane Spahr, Philadelphia; three sons, Roger C. and wife Pearl, Luciusboro; Kenneth S. and wife Renee, Luciusboro; Aaron S. with girlfriend April D, Luciusboro; and one daughter, Barbaraellen with husband AJ, Luciusboro; Homer is also survived by three grandchildren, Ryan C. Liggett, Arick Betts, and Alexis Betts; three great grandchildren, Taneya, Dohnavin, and Destiny Liggett. His longtime caregiver, Shane Martin and several nieces and nephews also survive him. In addition to his parents, Homer is preceded in death by his loving wife a 53 years Evelyn Mack Liggett, son, Tony C. Liggett and two brothers Irwin and Kenneth Liggett. Friends will be received Thursday from 6-8 PM and Friday from 11AM until time of Funeral Service at 1PM in the chapel at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
