Jerome “Jerry Razzi” Leo Razayeski, 80, passed away in his home on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was born July 11, 1943 to the late Leo Razayeski and Ruby (Engle) Tennaro in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jerry worked in the manufacturing field producing men’s clothing for over 35 years working his way up the ladder from the cutting room to the designing department. Jerry worked the majority of his career at Campus Sportswear located in Indiana, PA and later in Lexington, S.C.
Following his retirement, Jerry returned to Pennsylvania where he worked as a starter and ranger at Chestnut Ridge Golf Course. He was an avid golfer and looked forward to his yearly golf trips to Myrtle Beach with Ed, Skinny and the crew. He enjoyed all sports, but was most fond of college football and cheering for the Clemson Tigers. Jerry was a special member of Blairsville F.O.E, Red Barn Sportsman’s Club, Indiana V.F.W, and American Legion.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Randy) Jones and Maria Razayeski, both of Homer City; his son, Jerome (Christi) Razayeski of Central, S.C.; family friend, Amy Varner; his grandchildren, Ella Razayeski and Andrew Razayeski; a step grandson, Greg Jones; and his friends, Joe and Tim and all who joined them on the Porch.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Henry.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Homer City. Interment to follow at the Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice.
