John Bella

John Bella, 70, Homer City died December 10, 2014 at his residence. He was the son of the late John and Frances (Smicklo) Bella and was born May 14, 1944. He was employed by Krise Bus Company in Indiana, PA. John was a Vietnam Combat Veteran who served as a LARP. He enjoyed photography, traveling, the beauty of nature and learning throughout his life. He is survived by his wife, the former Susan Gearhart; his daughter, Michelle of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren; and his brother, Bob Bella and his wife Kathy of Clune, PA. He will always be fondly remembered by Aunt Katie, many cousins, his mother and father-in-law, Lucille and Kenny; his brother and sister-in-laws, Patty, Linda, Tim, Amy and Rich; his nieces and nephews, Carrie, Andy, Meg, Haley, Adam, Dane, Dessie, Mia and Dutch; great nephew, Finn and great niece, Josephine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David and his grandparents. Friends will be received Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. The family requests no flowers.
