Joseph Michael Pavolko

Joseph Michael Pavolko, 70, of Homer City, died Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. He was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Reichert) Pavolko, born on January 6, 1955, in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

Joseph was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and the Indiana County Beagle Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was retired from Joy Mining.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Joan (Croushore) Pavolko; his son, Michael Cullen Pavolko (and his wife, Taylor) of Wexford; and his granddaughter, Ava Joan Pavolko. He is also survived by his brother, Melvin Dembosky (and his wife, Carole), his sister, Cheryl Walker (and her husband, Ken), as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Dembosky; niece Jennifer Walker Myers; and his brother-in-law, James Croushore.

Friends will be received on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City, PA. Interment to follow in the St. Louis Cemetery, Lucernemines.
