Julian Scott Rainey, age 22, of Indiana, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly at his apartment on Friday, April 3, 2026.

Julian was a beloved son, brother, and boyfriend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew him. He was a truly kind soul, thoughtful, loyal, and possessing a heart of gold that he wore on his sleeve. Adventurous by nature, Julian loved the outdoors and lived life with the fearless spirit of a daredevil. His laughter and funny personality could brighten any room, and his love for his family was immense and unwavering.

Julian will be remembered for his creativity, his gentle nature, and his unbreakable spirit for adventure. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Jessica Hopkins and Mason Hopkins; his father, Brian Rainey; his sisters, Julia Rainey and Anna Rainey; his niece, Layna Rapach; his grandparents, Beverly Kubistek, Mary Hopkins Cindy Edward Stoker, Tim Livingston, Jack Rainey SR and Kathleen Rainey; his aunts, Johnna Garris, Monica Harris, Linda Hopkins and Heather Kettering; uncles, Aaron Hopkins, Guy Hopkins Jack Rainey Jr and Nick Rainey; as well as several great-aunts, great-uncles, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Kubistek

A memorial ceremony will be held at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Homer City, Pennsylvania. Services will be private and limited to immediate family and close friends.

Julian’s kindness, creativity, and vibrant spirit for adventure will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
