Karen E. Shetler

Karen E. Shetler, 78, of Josephine, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at her home. She was born on August 29, 1947, in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

She was the daughter of the late Perry Anderson Sr. and Tessie Anderson. She was married to William Shetler for 58 years.

Karen cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching Western movies and the Hallmark Channel. Additionally, she loved attending family cookouts and birthday parties.

She’s going to be greatly missed by so many people.

She is survived by her husband, William Shetler, Sr of Josephine, her two sons, Robert Shetler of Josephine and William Shetler, and fiancée, Becky White of Indiana.

She is also survived by her grandkids, Samantha Reese of McIntyre; Ashley White and boyfriend, Cody Reese Sr. of Indiana; Kimberly Nastase and husband, Rick Nastase of Josephine; Ashlynn Dempsedy and fiancé Michael Young of Arnold; Courtney Shetler and boyfriend, Michael Ellermeyer of Indiana, and her ten great-grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Perry Anderson; her daughter, Rachel McAdams; her son-in-law, Terry McAdams; and her grandson, Michael Shetler.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 23rd, from 1 to 3 PM and 6 until the time of the Funeral Service at 8 PM at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City.
