Lawrence Edgar Bennett Sr.

Lawrence Edgar Bennett Sr., of Black Lick, formerly of Homer City, died Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Lynn Haven Personal Care Home. He was the son of the late Donald Bruce and Rose Irma (Winters) Bennett and was born on April 11, 1958, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.  

He is survived by his son, Lawrence Edgar (Clamity) Bennett Jr., of Homer City; his sisters, Jannie Capitosti and Sonja Lee (Andrew) Lisette; and his brothers, Wyatt Bruce (Betty) Bennett, Donald Bruce Bennett Jr., and Arthur W. Bennett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Timothy Albert Bennett and Jon Wesley Bennett.  

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City.
