Lawrence L. Hopfer

Hopfer- Lawrence L., Jr., 66, Twin Rocks, passed away June 26, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving family, after a battle with cancer. He was born July 13, 1951 in Johnstown. Son of Lawrence and Catherine (Kuzminsky) Hopfer, Sr. Preceded in death by his mother, brother Leonard. Step son Todd Walker. Special friend Judy Roush. Lawrence is survived by his daughter Racquel (Jeremy) Lingenfelter. Granddaughter Sylvia Lingenfelter. Brother of Lance (Susan) Hopfer and Laura (Jerry) Dolges. Nieces and nephews Joshua (Amber) Rummel; Heidi (Michael) Rosko; Michelle (Joshua) Young; Andrew Clyde; and great nephew Braxton Young. Additional family John Roush and Hunter. Special friend John Natcher. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter. He also enjoyed anything dealing with polkas, auctions, antiques, and bargains. He especially liked attending the Country Auction in Nicktown. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where funeral services will be held Friday 11 AM. Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating. Interment to follow in St. Marys Cemetery.
