Leora G. Rager

Leora G. Rager, 93, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2026. Daughter of the late Leora Grace (Greer) and Carl L. Rager. 

Survived by her brother, John, and favorite niece, Amy Noel. Leora retired from Dale High School and the Ferndale Area School District. She especially enjoyed music, reading, theater, and traveling. 

Leora was a life member of Luther Chapel Church in Coral, PA, where she served for over 50 years as organist and pianist. Was a member of the Alden Kindred in America, American Association of University Women, and Beta Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma.

Friends and Family will be received Wednesday, from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM at Luther Chapel Church in Coral. In lieu of flowers, donations my be made to Luther Chapel Church.

Thanks is to be extended to the Association for the Blind and Physically Handy Capped, and to the helpful workers at Heritage Ridge for the past years of care.
