Linda Darlene Balls

Linda Darlene (Babco) Balls, 68, of Homer City passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and M. Louise (George) Babco and was born December 11, 1950 in Indiana. She was a member of the Homer City United Presbyterian Church, Homer City where she served as Deacon. Linda was a graduate of IUP and prior to her retirement was employed by the Indiana Guidance Center, the Armstrong-Indiana Behavioral and Development Health Program and the Arc of Indiana County. Linda enjoyed volunteering and decorating sugar cookies with her granddaughters. She also loved attending school and sports activities. Linda is survived by her husband, Dennis K. Balls; her son, Jeffrey Balls, of Florida and her daughter, Leanne Shaw and husband Steve, of Latrobe. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Ella Sylvis and Madison Shaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, brother Jim Babco, sister, Judy Nastase and niece Brenda Michel. At Linda's request all services will be private.
