Lois 'Faye' Jerome

83, a lifelong resident of Nanty Glo, passed away in Orange Park, Fl. Born Nov. 11, 1932, daughter of the late Fabian and Ellen (Waldron) Sybert. Preceded in death by husband Michael Jerome, to whom she was married to for 34 years; and sister, Darlene Sybert. Survived by daughter, Michele Lynn James and son-in-law, Dr. Robert James, Orange Park, Fl.; grandson, Michael Robert James and wife, Jennifer James and great-granddaughter, Josephine Olivia James, New Jersey; daughter Tina Marie Jerome, son-in-law Jerry Clayton Ray, Jr. Grandchildren, Caitlin Elizabeth Ray, Raleigh, NC.; Rylie Victoria Ray and Jack Michael Jerome Ray, all of Concord, New Hampshire. Brothers, Dr. Robert Sybert and wife, Dorothy; Dr. John Sybert and wife, Rosemary. Sister-in-law Olga Shultz and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Faye was a volunteer at the Nanty Glo House where she prepared and served meals. She spent many hours with her father at Sybert's Feed Mill. She also prepared and cooked meals for weddings for the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Faye enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Friday 6 to 8 p.m., where a liturgical wake service will be held. Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo, Fr. Leonard Voytek, the celebrant. Interment to follow in Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association
