Lois A. Rura

Lois A. Rura, age 78, of Coral died Sunday August 3, 2014 at her home in Coral with her family. She was born on October 16, 1935 and was the daughter of Ira M. and Mabel (Fritz) Kinter. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Homer City. Lois was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution, Clown ministry and she attended Silver Sneakers at YMCA , Indiana. She was also a secretary for various churches in the area and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities. Lois is survived by husband Joseph E., Coral 1 daughter Anne Reicherter and husband Frank, Edgewater, MD. 1 son James E. and wife Shamrock Rura, Coral Grandchildren Franky and Sofia Reicherter, Jaime, Tommy and Riley Rura She is also survived by 1 sister Betty Weber and husband Gene, Denver, Colorado Lois is preceded in death by parents. At Lois request, there will be no visitation or funeral. A memorial service will be held at the Homer City United Methodist Church on Thursday, August 7 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a lunch gathering. C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Homer City United Methodist Church, VNA of Indiana County or the American Heart Association.
