Louis Victor Bernini

Louis Victor Bernini, 72, of Indiana, passed away on October 29, 2025, at his home, surrounded by family and friends. Louis was born June 13, 1953, in Indiana to Reno and Marian (Binando) Bernini.

He grew up in the small town of Coral, PA, with many friends and cousins, and graduated from Homer-Center High School.

He worked for Syntron in Homer City and Blairsville and later at Central Tractor in Indiana, and retired from the Indiana Area School District. Louie’s passion was collectible cars that he owned over the years. Going to car shows was a delight for him and his wife. They loved to camp out in their trailer with their son and family in the summer. His grandchildren adored him, and his dog “Snoopy” will miss him very much. Above all, his wife, Linda, was the love of his life.

Louis is survived by his wife, Linda; his son, Matthew, and wife, Julie; his daughter, Nicole, and granddaughters, Emma, Stella, and Camilla; his sister, Diana (Bernini) Staffen and husband, Bill; his niece, Lisa (Staffen) Iezzi and husband Joe, and their son, Austin. Beloved members of Linda’s family who were dear to Louie include Arlene Jones, Jerry Olliver, Art & Joan Peterman, Jane Wilkens, Russell Peterman, Arline Peterman, Amy Fishel, Floyd Fishel, and many special nieces and nephews.

Louis was preceded in life by his parents, Reno and Marian (Binando) Bernini, and his grandparents, Victor & Mary Binando and Louis & Maria Bernini, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Four Footed Friends of Indiana and the Creekside Methodist Church.
