Louis William Hilliard

Louis “Lou” William Hilliard, 68, of Homer City, passed away on June 27, 2025. He was the son of Kathryn “Kitty” Hilliard and Ward Hilliard, born on August 14, 1956.

Louis worked at Helen Mines and then at Cunningham Meats in Indiana, PA.

He is survived by his daughter, Alicia R. Altman of Indiana, PA; his son, Devin L. Hilliard (Leigh Ann Shoemaker) of Indiana, PA; and his brothers, Ward A. Hilliard (Bernadette) of Homer City, PA, and Gregory H. Hilliard (Marcia) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by his sisters, Sheila M. Hilliard of Homer City, PA, Cheryl L. Menzies (Robb) of Colorado, and Connie L. Walters (Greg) of South Carolina. Additionally, he is survived by his granddaughter, Lilyana Swalga, and his grandsons, Jacob Swalga and Ryder Altman, all of Indiana, PA, and his girlfriend, Annette Lichtenfels, of Homer City, PA.
