Lucy A. Magalich

Lucy A. Magalich, age 57, of Lucernemines died of cancer on October 12, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Lucy was born on August 17, 1959 in Indiana, PA and was the daughter of Norman and Betty (Kelly) Fleming. Lucy was a member of Club Savoy in Homer City and the American Legion Ladies Auxillary #437, Homer City. She was a 1978 graduate of Apollo-Ridge and Lenape VoTech. She was a certified nurses aid working with the elderly and was last employed at Moorhead Place, Indiana. Lucy is survived by husband David, Lucernemines; and one son Jason and wife DeAnna, Houston Texas. She is survived by one sister Norma Super, VA; one brother Daniel Fleming, Kent, PA.and one granddaughter Natalie. Lucy is also survived by one nephew Chris Carnahan; four nieces Shannon White, Tara Fleming, Shelly Carnahan and Danielle Super and special friends Kim Kochik and Brandi Rankin. Lucy is preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Matthew Conjelko, Officiating. Interment to follow in the Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
