Margaret Mester

Margaret Mester, 88, Tide, PA died March 11, 2014. She was the daughter of John and Anna (Oleksa) Sisak and was born November 15, 1925 in Elizabeth, PA. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Homer City and the Ladies Altar Society. She is survived by three sons, John K. Mester and wife Marion of Clarksburg; Dennis S. Mester of Lucernemines; Donald J. Mester and his wife Tonya of Homer City; three grandchildren; Melissa Bocz, Briana Abel and Tyler Mester; two great grandchildren, Ian Bocz and Peyton Bocz. She is also survived by her brother, Pete Sisak and his wife Delores of Jamestown, NY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Mester; great granddaughter, Angel Marie Bocz; brothers, John, Steve, Michael and George Sisak and sisters, Mary Solochier, Ann Price and Helen Cozart. Friends will be received Friday, March 14, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Panachida will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Service at 10 AM at the SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Homer City with Rev. Father Matthew Conjelko, the celebrant. Interment to follow in Oakland Cemetery.
