Marian (Fletchko) Fonner

Marian (Fetchko) Fonner, 90, Punxsutawney died October 13, 2015 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Buckshaw) Fetchko and was born May 24, 1925 in Greensburg. She was a member of SS Cosmas and Damian Church, Punxsutawney. Marian loved crossword puzzles, cooking (she made the best lemon meringue pie) and writing short stories about her family and friends that she loved to share with them. She was employed by various companies in the Punxsutawney area. Marian is survived by daughter, Susan Fonner Bayle, San Diego; brother John R. (Marcy) Fetchko, Josephine; sister, Joan A. Strawser, Imperial, PA. She is also survived by nieces and nephew, John, Mark and Michael Fetchko; Lynn (Jonathan) DeBor and great nieces and nephews, Jessica, John, Thea, Sarah, Maura and Brenna. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret (Peg) Fetchko. A small private family viewing and Funeral Mass was held at the convenience of the family at Marians request. The C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City is in charge of arrangements.
