Mary Ann Angelini (Smith), 89, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 16, 1936 in Graceton, PA, and was the daughter of the late Gusty and Mary (Duritzo) Smith.
The most important things to Mary Ann were her faith and her family. She was strong in her faith and exhibited unwavering strength, love, support, and guidance to her family. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and was formerly involved with the Christian Mothers and Alter Rosary Society. She absolutely adored spending time with her family, particularly with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, as well as for the church bake sales, being outdoors with her flowers, and watching the wildlife with her dog, Gracie.
Mary Ann's legacy will live on through shared memories and the values she instilled in her family, based from her deep faith and love for Jesus Christ and God.
A special "thank you" to the staff at IRMC on the 4th floor surgical suite, Anew Home Health, Hospice 365, and the Embassy of Hillsdale Park skilled nursing facility in Hillsdale, PA. Your kindness, patience, and compassion will forever be greatly appreciated.
Mary Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband John, daughter-in-law LuAnn Angelini, and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her five children John, Lisa (Robert) Nymick, Christopher, David, and Michele Angelini; grandchildren Kenny, Nikala, Stephanie (Matt), Tommy, Ashleigh (Chris), Stephen (Emily), Matthew, Ethan, Lauren (Jarred), Katelin, Shannon, Brittany (Patrick), Meghan, Courtney, and Kelly; great grandchildren Adelina, Gemma, Grayson, Rylee, Fallyn, Brooks, River, and two on the way; sister Rosella (Domenick) Prenni, brother-in-law John (Jack) Fetchko and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday, June 16, from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, in Homer City. A blessing service will be held Tuesday, June 17, at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral, Pa ,with Fr. John Pavlick, the celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
