Mary Grace Demeter

Mary Grace Demeter, age 92, of Homer City died Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Beacon Ridge Skilled Nursing Home in Indiana, Pa. Mary was born on June 27, 1926 in East Wheatfield Twp. and was the daughter of Steve and Mary (Harkovich) Demeter. Mary graduated from Homer City High School were she was the Salutatorian of her class. She was employed 47 years and retired from FMC after 37 years. Mary is survived by one niece Catherine Ann Dietrich and husband Richard, Parma, Ohio; one nephew Stephen Douglas Demeter, North Olmsted, Ohio; one great niece Dawn A. Dietrich, Sacramento, California; one great nephew, Derek R. Dietrich, Clermont, Florida and one sister-in-law Joanne Demeter, Parma, Ohio. She was preceded in death by parents and two brothers, John and Steve. Friends will be received Saturday May 11, from 8:30 am until 9:30 am followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site. Interment to follow at St. Bernards Cemetery. C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
