Mary Jane Piccolini, 90, of Homer City, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 28, 1935, in Josephine, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary M. McCurdy Spohn.
Mary Jane was a dedicated professional who served as an office manager in the English Department at IUP prior to her retirement. She valued education and completed high school along with some college coursework. Mary Jane was a faithful member of Hope Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children: Paul (Joyce) Piccolini of St. Clairsville, OH; Anthony (Dana) Piccolini of Indiana, PA; Tina (David) Moore of Indiana, PA; and Susan (James) McLoughlin of Homer City, PA. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Bethany (Brad) Hrovat, Lindsay (Nate) Huff, Amanda (Chris) Dunkers, David (Susan) Moore, Patrick (Lindsey) Moore, Gina (Brandon) DeSalvo, Anthony (Courtney) Piccolini, Maggie McLoughlin, and Stephen McLoughlin; and her cherished great-grandchildren: Cole, Kenley, and Kellen Hrovat; Brandon, Luca, and Nico Moore; Lilli Huff; Sadie Piccolini; and Emelia DeSalvo.Her sister, Yvonne Webster, and her stepbrothers, Milford (Kathy) Lawson, Marlin Lawson, and Rick Derr, also survive her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Piccolini; her infant daughter, Antonia Jane; and her siblings, Patricia, Harry, Donna, Marlene, and Paul.
In keeping with Mary Jane’s wishes, private services were held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church in Homer City. Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City, is entrusted with the arrangements.
