MaryAnn Sadowski

MaryAnn Sadowski, 78, of Phoenix, AZ formerly of Homer City, died June 19, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Emma (Novotny) Pluchinsky and was born March 31, 1936. She is survived by her husband, Richard Sadowski; children Laura (Douglas) Durant of Phoenix AZ, Joyce Alexis (David) Scott of Cleveland OH, and David (Christina) Sadowski of Phoenix AZ. Three grandchildren, Dante, Breanna, Elizabeth Victoria, and brother Bernard Pluchinsky and sister Barbara Cackowski. She enjoyed talking, gardening, and laughing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Regina Vargo. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucerne Mines site. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association for the purpose of elderly care.
