Mildred Jane (Compardo) Stuckich, 83 of Homer City died April 16, 2015 surrounded by her family at her son and daughter-n-laws personal care home, Lynn Haven II in Blacklick. The daughter of the late John and Mary Compardo, she was born February 5, 1932 at her home Heilwood. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. Mildred was well known for always having her kitchen open 24-7 for anyone that stopped by and was hungry. She always insisted that you eat. Except when it was time for bingo, kitchen closed and she was out to play her favorite game with many friends. She also enjoyed yard sales and auctions. Mildred is survived by her husband of 61 years, Pete Stuckich, Homer City; her surviving children, Peter Stuckich, Illinois, Dennis and wife Connie Stuckich, Armagh, Amy (Stuckich) Adams and husband Kenny, Clearfield and Andrew and wife Renee Stuckich, Blacklick; grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew and Kattie Stuckich, Massachusetts, John Stuckich and wife Brittany, Armagh, Ashley Stuckich and Greg Zagrodniczek, Blacklick; Great Grandchildren, Logan and Emily Zagrodniczek, Blacklick. She is also survived by one sister, Kathryn (Charles) Malenich, Heilwood and one sister-in-law, Josie Compardo, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Compardo, one brother, John "Randy" Compardo Sr. and one neice, Karen (Compardo) Shultz. Friends will be received Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where services will be held at 7PM with Rev. Father Bob Washko, officiating.
