Monica Rose (Blehar) Murray

Monica R. Murray, age 75, of Coral died Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Monica was born on January 29, 1939 in Coral, PA and was the daughter of Michael and Mary (Solo) Blehar. Monica was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed reading and her flower gardens and enjoyed all the Pittsburgh sports teams. She worked for Dr. Mitchell in Indiana for 35 years. Monica is survived by her husband, Bernard and by her son, Patrick and his wife Kathleen (Grego) of Blairsville. She is also survived by one brother, Raymond Blehar and his wife Rosalie of Greensburg and one sister, Sister Therese Martin Blehar of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by parents. Family and friends will be received Saturday from 9AM until time of Blessing service at 10:30 at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site with Fr. Ronald Cryktor, the celebrant. Interment will be held at the church cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
