Phyllis Jean (Darnley) Popp

Phyllis Jean (Darnley) Popp, 71, Homer City died November 29, 2015 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Edna (Harmon) Darnley and was born January 11, 1944. She was a member of St. Marys Byzantine Catholic Church, Homer City. Phyllis loved spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting and she also enjoyed reading. She was a retired English teacher having been employed by the Blairsville-Saltsburg School District. Phyllis was survived by her husband, George Popp; her daughter, Joanna (Jason) Morgan of Lucernemines and her grandchildren, Isabella, Alexander and Christopher Morgan and Emma Popp. She is also survived by her sister, Betsy (Larry) Erizer of Russell, PA and her brother John Darnley of Homer City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edgar Darnley. A private family visitation will be held Tuesday from noon until 2 PM where a funeral service will be held at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City.
