Rick L. Barnett

Rick L. Barnett, 47, Marion Center, died Sunday, May, 15, 2016 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was the son of Gerald and Margaret (Craft) Barnett and was born March 24, 1969 in Indiana, PA. Rick was a 1989 graduate of Homer Center High School and a 1991 graduate of Vale Tech. He enjoyed going and participating at Demolition Derby with his sons, he also enjoyed automotive restoration and was an excellent backyard mechanic. Rick was employed at Walmart and the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Susan Barnett, Homer City; two sons, Shawn Barnett, Homer City; Zack and fiancee Sarah Dorbritz, Irwin; father, Gerald Barnett, Lucernemines; siblings, Barbara Grey, Goose Creek, SC; Jerry (Kimberley) Barnett, Goose Creek, SC and Tammy Barnett, Johnstown; sister-in-laws, Ronda (Jim) Leasure and Connie (Kirk) McCoy, both of Clymer and brother-in-law, Mike (Brenda) Haight. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Hayden, Mikalia and Cameron Haight; Alysha and Dylan Grey; Amber and Brittany Barnett; Alicia Leasure and Conner and Cassandra McCoy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret (Craft) Barnett and his brother, Martin Barnett. Friends will be received Wednesday from 9:30 until time of service at 11 AM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City with Raymond McIntire, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
