Ronald S. Vargo

Ronald S. Vargo, age 73, of Homer City, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his residence. Ronald was born on March 16, 1942 in Indiana, PA and was the son of Steve and Agnes (Gezich) Vargo. Ronald was a member of the FOE #1468, Indiana; Indiana Moose Lodge 174, Indiana and the American Legion Post 493, Homer City. Ronald was the Center Township Supervisor for 24 years. Ron enjoyed his trips to various casinos, Sunday poker games and spending a lot of time with his grandson Landon. Ronald is survived by 2 sons, Eric Vargo, Homer City and Jason Vargo, Homer City and 1 grandson Landon Vargo. He is also survived by 1 sister Renee Vargo, McIntyre and 1 brother Fred Vargo, Homer City. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Steve. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where a Memorial service will be held Friday at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. William A. Lascelles, officiating.
