Ronald L Walker, 68, of Homer City died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Lloyd S. and Mary Jane (Sell) Walker and was born November 16, 1944 in Indiana. Ronald was a member of the United States National Guard and was retired from Penelec. During his retirement, he worked at Paisanos Restaurant in Homer City and A&G Auto Parts. He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Popp) Walker; two daughters, Tanya E. (John) Saporito of Cashiers, North Carolina and Tamara L. (David Kundla) Walker of Homer City. He is also survived by his sister Patty (James) Irvin of Shelocta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gregory and his sister, Donna Hartman. Friends will be received Friday, from 2-8PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where a Parastas will be recited Friday at 7PM at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Father Lawrence Daniels, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood cemetery, Indiana.
